Menus
HoverCraft uses standard WordPress menus for primary navigation, mobile navigation, and focused call-to-action locations.
- Main Menu is the primary desktop navigation. If no Main Menu is assigned, HoverCraft falls back to an automatic list of published pages.
- Mobile Menu can use a separate menu; if none is assigned, HoverCraft falls back to the Main Menu, then to the automatic published-page list when no Main Menu exists.
- Header, hero, sidebar, and footer CTA menu locations are limited to one top-level item.
- Desktop menus support dropdown navigation and keyboard focus.
- Overlay Simple opens mobile navigation in a full-screen overlay with a dedicated close control.
- Accordion Push opens mobile navigation in an offcanvas panel and provides expand/collapse controls for nested submenus.
- When mobile-menu search is enabled through HoverCraft's Search Display setting, the search form appears inside either mobile navigation style.
Desktop and mobile navigation use the same WordPress menu system; the mobile styles change presentation and interaction rather than creating a separate navigation structure.
