Search

HoverCraft uses the standard WordPress search system and styles search forms and results to match the rest of the theme.

• Search can be exposed through the desktop header icon, mobile header icon, mobile-menu search, supported combinations, or disabled.
• Header search icons open HoverCraft's full-screen search interface.
• Search forms submit queries through normal WordPress site search.
• Search results display the matching title, excerpt, and featured image when available.
• Long result sets use the theme's normal pagination.
• Search result pages can use the normal HoverCraft sidebar layout when enabled.
• When bbPress is active, forum topics and replies can appear in normal WordPress search results.

HoverCraft does not replace WordPress search with a separate search engine or external search service.
