Metadata

HoverCraft includes lightweight metadata for social sharing on singular WordPress content.

• Outputs Open Graph title, description, URL, site name, image, and article type.
• Outputs Twitter title, description, image, and a large-image card type.
• Uses the WordPress post or page title for sharing titles.
• Uses the excerpt for sharing descriptions and trims long excerpts.
• HoverCraft enables excerpts for Pages so static pages can provide a deliberate sharing description.
• Uses the featured image at the Medium Large image size when available.

HoverCraft keeps theme-level metadata intentionally narrow. Broader SEO systems, structured data, schema, business data, reviews, FAQs, and similar durable metadata should generally be handled by plugins.
