Install Git Updater

Installing the free Git Updater plugin is very simple. You can either download it from their website, or via GitHub.

Then, you upload their ZIP file to your WP Admin under Plugins >> Add New

You have to activate it, otherwise it can’t receive updates to itself, nor for any themes or plugins that rely on Git Updater either.
